It started with a 60th birthday

What we kept coming back to was the stuff you can't buy: the burnt lasagna, the drive home in the rain, the phone call at midnight.

That's when it clicked. "60 reasons why we love you" was sweet, but "60 moments we cherish" hit differently. A specific memory carries far more weight than a general compliment ever could.

So we designed the first poster for a close friend's mom: sixty moments, typeset on one page, framed and handed over. There was one catch. They were with five siblings, and every one of them had their own moments to share. Whose memory was whose?

That question is exactly how the colour coding was born. Each person gets their own colour, so you can see at a glance who remembered what. The result: a very moved mom, and a new forever addition to the wall.

Telling Moments grew from there. Same idea, every time: you bring the memories, we take care of the typesetting, and someone gets a gift that could only have been made for them.

About the name: in Dutch tellen means to count, a telling is a count. So Telling Moments works twice over: moments worth telling, and moments worth counting. Every moment counts.
